Arthur Rubinstein

Wed, Apr 10, 2013 | 8:45 PM | Walter Reade Theater

This program starts nearly 50 years ago, when Arthur Rubinstein performed an all-Chopin program in the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory before a rapturous crowd; we then rejoin him nearly four years later in London, in 1968, performing Chopin's Second Concerto with the Israel Philharmonic under Zubin Mehta.

There is no late seating.

This performance is approximately one hour and 30 minutes long, with no intermission.
Presented in association with the Film Society of Lincoln Center and Classifilms.
